Authors submitting articles to the University Avenue Undergraduate
Journal of Economics (UAUJE) warrant that their papers are not
under consideration for publication by any other publication
and that the material within the work is not subject to any other
copyright, unless required consents have been made.
In cases where a paper involves empirical analysis, the data
that are used may be published along with the article. We encourage
the authors to send their data sets, as this provides other users
with another resource. This condition will be waived in those
cases where it cannot be met for legal or other reasons.

Requirements:
Students interested in being published
in the Journal should submit their articles electronically to
the Editorial Board as Microsoft Word or WordPerfect documents.
Papers being submitted for consideration
for publication must be no more than 30 pages long (double spaced
and excluding tables, figures, and references).
Send tables of data as Excel spreadsheets.
Images (graphics, pictures, figures,
equations, etc.) should be sent as .pict or .gif. Published articles
become the intellectual property of the Journal.
Articles submitted for publication must
be accompanied by a letter or email from sponsoring faculty members
verifying that the articles were authored solely by undergraduate
students. |
|
There is no restriction on the number of articles that can
be submitted by students from a particular institution. However,
each student is limited to submitting one article per journal
issue.
Note: With respect to articles accepted for publication in
the Journal, any grammatical errors may be changed by the Editors
of the Journal without consent of the author. However, any substantive
changes will be made only after receiving the consent of the
author.
